Clear Terms, No Surprises

Overview

When you request a quote or hire Rarity Renovations Inc., you agree to these terms. If you act for an owner or company, you confirm you can bind them.

Scope and Changes

• Your estimate or contract lists scope, materials, milestones, and price.
• Changes or hidden conditions (like electrical or structural issues) may affect time and cost; we will pause and get written approval before proceeding.

Scheduling and Access

• Timelines depend on permits, materials, weather, and site conditions. We keep you updated.
• Provide safe access, power, water, and clear paths to work areas.

Payments

• Deposits and milestone payments are outlined in your estimate or contract.
• Late payments may pause work and add reasonable service charges.

Quality and Warranty

• We use specified or approved materials; comparable substitutions need your okay.
• Labor has a 1-year limited workmanship warranty unless stated otherwise. Manufacturer warranties apply to materials.

Safety and Care

• Remove or protect personal items and tell us about known hazards.
• We maintain tidy work areas and remove our debris at completion.

Photos

With your permission, we may photograph finished work for our portfolio without sharing identifying details.

Liability

• Services are provided as-is except where a written warranty applies.
• Our liability is capped at what you paid for the project and excludes indirect or consequential losses.

Ending or Pausing Work

• Either party may end the agreement for a material issue if not fixed after notice.
• We may pause for unsafe conditions, nonpayment, or hazards. You pay for work done and approved materials to date.

Law and Disputes

These terms follow Ontario law and applicable Canadian federal law. We aim to resolve issues directly; otherwise, disputes go to mediation in the Greater Toronto Area before any court action.
